LessonsOur lesson program begins with teaching the basics. All of our riders from the littlest 4 year olds to older equestrians learn the importance of how to handle a horse from the ground up.
Each lesson begins with proper grooming of the horse, teaching the importance of skin/hoof care along with bonding with the horse itself. We teach the proper way to tack a horse, explain parts of the bridle and saddle and other equipment used, and how to care for it. After tacking the horse they are brought to the ring for their lesson, each week expanding on the previous to further their skills and achieve new goals. We stress the importance of mastering each step along the way - from posture and balance, to navigating a jumper course - each new technique they learn helping them become the best equestrian they can be; all the while teaching them that the horse is 1/2 of the partnership, and should always be treated with the utmost respect. After each lesson the horse is untacked and groomed again, finishing up with a special treat for the horse for all his hard work! |

TrainingPackages are available to train your horse. More than just exercising, your horse begins each session with a thorough grooming - working on ground manners if needed. From there each horse is evaluated to determine what his strengths are and what areas he needs work in. Together with their owner, we create a plan to work through any problems they may be having, or to further the skills of the horse. Whether it's a young horse just learning the basics, or a more advanced horse that needs more time to develop the skills needed to be a show horse, we will work with you to help bring your horse to the dream mount you are looking for.

ShowingWe encourage our riders to participate in shows throughout the season. Showing gives the riders a chance to try out their skills off premises, and to gain confidence riding in different circumstances. We teach good sportsmanship above all else, learning to work together with their horse to reach new milestones each time they are out. All riders help out at the shows, assist in getting their horse ready, and encourage their fellow stablemates in the show ring. We go to different shows in different disciplines so that all may participate, from local shows for our beginner riders, rated shows such as HITS, Old Salem for our advanced riders, and travel each winter to WEC in Ocala for those who wish to experience showing at its finest for our upper level show jumpers.
